ROAD TEST SERVICE AGREEMENT

(Please Read Carefully)

By scheduling your Road Test with Sonia’s Driving School, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Service Fee

The cost of our services is $140.00. To reserve your appointment, a $100.00 cash deposit is required at the time your appointment is scheduled. The remaining balance of $40.00 must be paid on the day of your Road Test. This fee covers only the services provided by our school and includes:

Scheduling your Road Test appointment.
Providing an RMV-approved vehicle for the examination.
An authorized instructor serving as your Road Test Sponsor.
Spanish interpretation during the Road Test, if needed.

  1. RMV Fees

You are responsible for checking directly with the RMV (Registry of Motor Vehicles) to determine whether you have any outstanding fines, fees, or balances. Any amount owed to the RMV must be paid directly by you. Sonia’s Driving School does not pay or cover any RMV fees. The $140.00 fee applies exclusively to the services provided by our school.

  1. Learner’s Permit

You must bring your printed Massachusetts Learner’s Permit on the day of your Road Test. Failure to present your printed permit will prevent you from taking the exam, and your $100.00 deposit will be forfeited.

  1. Permit Suspension

If your Learner’s Permit is suspended or becomes invalid for any reason before your Road Test, you will not be allowed to take the exam, and your $100.00 deposit will be forfeited.

  1. Road Test Date and Time

The date initially provided is tentative. The RMV is solely responsible for determining the official date and time of your Road Test. If the RMV changes your appointment, our school will notify you promptly. It is the student’s responsibility to attend the new appointment. Failure to appear will result in the loss of your $100.00 deposit.

  1. Change of Driving School

If, after reserving your Road Test through our school, you decide to take the test or driving lessons with another driving school, that school may request a transfer of your record with the RMV. If this occurs, you will be removed from our system, your reservation will be canceled, and your $100.00 deposit will not be refunded.

  1. Payments After the Road Test

If you pass the Road Test, you must log in to the RMV website or visit an RMV office to pay any applicable fees required for the issuance of your driver’s license. If you do not pass the Road Test, the RMV may require additional fees before you can schedule another exam. These payments are the sole responsibility of the student.

  1. Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your Road Test, you must do so at least 16 calendar days before the scheduled test date. Cancellations made after this deadline will result in the forfeiture of your $100.00 deposit.

  1. Acceptance

By accepting your appointment and authorizing Sonia’s Driving School to process your Road Test application with the RMV, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted all the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement. If you do not agree with any of these terms, Sonia’s Driving School will not be able to reserve or schedule your Road Test.
